La Faiblesse du DésordreDIGITAL LOST AND FOUND
This textile and metallic composition reflect on the romanticized imagery of the web, reimagining the space of a family computer or gaming room.
The background features a gray and white checkered pattern, evoking the classic Photoshop interface, while the use of silver spray-painted cotton references Susanne’s jewelry practice. The interplay between materials—silver-painted fabric, quilting, and laser-cut aluminum—creates a dynamic fusion of two of Susanne’s artistic practices, textile and jewelry design. The quilted elements and metallic eyelets introduce a three-dimensional quality, while the patchwork technique and appliqué illustrations add layers of meaning to the piece.
This work invites the viewer to reflect on the digital landscape, questioning the way we consume and interact with visual information while reclaiming space for women in this ever-evolving virtual world.
